We hosted youth from around the area to build 42 duck boxes! Attendees had the option to take the boxes home with them to put up on their own or leave them for chapter members to install.

The Delta Waterfowl University Hunting Program (UHP) allows chapters to connect with local universities to provide first hunt opportunities for students in wildlife-related courses. We hosted 14 students from Cornell University for a weekend of gun safety, target shooting, comradery, and a waterfowl hunt. Students had the opportunity to try many types of game dishes and learn first-hand about the role hunters play in conservation. Many of these students will go on to have careers in wildlife management or in regulatory agencies and will now have personal hunting experience.
